My problem is unique, can you help me?
- We probably can help you in some way. If we can't help you, we will tell you. Simply put, a private investigator provides you with information you might not otherwise be able to obtain on your own or where an independent inquiry is warranted. The type of information we can provide varies with your particular needs and the circumstances surrounding your case. You can be sure that the information we provide will have been legally obtained, properly documented and admissible as evidence in court. We will clearly explain the type of information we can provide and the type of information we (or any other private investigator) cannot provide. Call us and we will discuss your problem and tell you how we can help.
How much does it cost to hire you?
- Our fees are based on an hourly rate and expenses. The cost of our services will depend on the scope of your request and the duration necessary to complete the assignment. We also utilize a network of specialized professionals to provide services in specific areas of expertise, such as computer or digital media examination, polygraph services, language translation, forensic examination of evidence or other specialized services. Those services are billed at their prevailing rates. We know everyone has a budget. Call us and we will be happy to discuss how we can provide you with the most effective services within your budget.
Does an initial consultation cost anything and is it confidential?
- There is no cost for the initial telephone consultation and your inquiry with us is confidential. We will evaluate your case and provide you with an estimate for our services. If you choose to retain our services, a signed agreement and a retainer amount will be required before any services can begin.
What is a retainer?
- A retainer is an upfront payment that we invoice against. We require a retainer in an amount to cover the anticipated initial investigative fees and expenses. We will invoice against the retainer amount until we have either completed the assignment or reached an agreed level. If you authorize the continuation of our services, an additional retainer amount will be requested to cover the remainder of the services. When the services are complete, or if you wish to end our inquiry, we will promptly refund any unused retainer amount.
Will you be able to work with my attorney?
- Absolutely. In fact, if you are requesting our services for a legal matter in which you are represented, it is imperative we work with your attorney to provide information your attorney can actually use in your case. We will be happy to discuss your case with you and your attorney and develop an effective investigative plan.
How soon can you begin?
- We can sometimes begin as soon as we have received a signed agreement and the specified retainer amount. However, we usually begin a case within 24 to 48 hours. Each case is different and we understand emergent circumstances arise. We can receive a signed agreement via facsimile or email and we accept major credit cards as payment. We understand information is only valuable if you have it when you need it, so we will do our best to accommodate your needs. If we cannot provide the services you require in the desired time frame, we will tell you.
Is payment for your services contingent on the outcome and are your results guaranteed?
- Absolutely not. Our fees for services are never contingent on the outcome or results of the requested services. We cannot make any guarantees of any kind as to the anticipated results of our services. Investigative services, by nature, can not be guaranteed and may be limited by time, budget and available resources. What we can guarantee is that we will aggressively investigate your case and provide you with accurate and reliable information that is thoroughly and professionally documented.
